- 1/3 cup heavy cream

BANANA BREAD

Cream the shortening and sugar together and then add the eggs and beat until creamy
- 1 C. shortening
- 2 C. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 C. mashed bananas (3-4)
- 2 t. baking soda
- 2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 C. sour milk (mix 2t. vinegar w/milk) or use buttermilk
- 3 C. flour
- 1 C. walnuts or pecans (optional)
