- 3/4 cup cold water
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (12 ounces)
- 1 jar (14 to 15 ounces) pizza sauce
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (3 ounces)
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
Hillbilly No Bake Crunch Bars

In 3 quart saucepan combine peanut butter, corn syrup and sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet real chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 cups corn flake cereal
- 1 1/2 cup peanuts or raisins
Triple-Layer Brownies

In a large bowl, stir dry brownie mix, eggs, water and oil just until combined

- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. oil
- 16-oz. container cream cheese frosting
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 12-oz. pkg. milk chocolate chips
- 2-1/2 c. crispy rice cereal
Grandma Edna's Cajun Pork

Finely chop vegetables. In a large skillet, saute vegetables in butter until tender
- 1 small onion
- 1 celery rib
- 1 small green pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt, white pepper and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 boneless whole pork loin roast (4 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water

1 In a bowl, toss Andouille Dinner Sausage, shrimp or chicken and Creole seasoning
- 1 package (13.5 ounces) Andouille Dinner Sausage, cut into 1/4-inch coins
- 1/2 pound medium raw shrimp, peeled and deveined OR boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1- inch cubes
- 2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 box (8 ounces) jambalaya rice mix
- 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

- 1 1/2 cups milk

CHERRY ALMOND CHEWS

In a large bowl cream shortening and sugars
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 t almond extract
- 2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 t baking soda
- 1 t salt
- 2-1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 3/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1 jar (16 oz) maraschino cherries, drained and halved
Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad on Avocado

Mix the first 7 ingredients together in a small mixing bowl
- 3-4 cups shredded, cooked chicken (from pastured hens)
- 3 heaping Tbsp. mayonnaise (where to buy soy-free mayonnaise)
- 1 Tbsp. brown mustard
- 1 Tbsp. diced onion (small red or a few green onions)
- 1 lime, juiced
- 5 Tbsp. cilantro, chopped
- salt & pepper to taste (where to find organic, non-irradiated spices)
- 2 avocados, halved and with seed removed

Mini Cinnamon Rolls

- 2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated reduced-fat crescent roll dough
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup golden raisins, if desired
