- 5 * 5 cups basil leaves, packed

- 1 * 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup good olive oil
- 1 * 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 * 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted (recommended: Pepperidge Farm)
- 1 * 1 egg mixed with 1 tablespoon water, for egg wash
