- Cookies:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 12 tablespoons (1 1/2 sticks) butter, room temperature
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup milk
- Filling:
- Two 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Lentil Loaf

Mix everything up in a bowl, then dump into a loaf tin, bake for about half an hour in a moderately hot oven
- 1 pound (cooked weight) lentils
- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 6 tablespoons Bloem Drinking Chocolate or other grated artisan dark chocolate
