Emily's Pumpkin Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Frosting:
- 8 oz butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. pumkin puree
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 3 1/2 T. milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Oven Buttered Corn Sticks

Melt butter or oleo in a 15 x 12 1/2 x 1-inch pan
- 4 T. butter or oleo, melted
- 2 c. packaged biscuit mix
- 1 (8 3/4-oz.) can cream-style corn or part of larger can
Easy Hamburger Casserole

Brown hamburger, onion and green pepper, if used
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped (opt)
- 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
- 6 med. raw potatoes, sliced
Ham Glaze

Heat to a oil and pour over ham and bake last 1/2 hour of cooking time
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 c. Karo light syrup
- 3 tsp. concentrated orange juice
Sweet Potatoes

Mix well. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and vanilla
- Add:
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 lbs yellow sweet potatoes, boil, peel and mash
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 T. butter
- 1/2 c. orange juice
Quick Biscuits

Mix all ingredients until well blended
- 1 c. milk
- 1 T. salad dressing (not mayonnaise)
- 2 c. self-rising flour
Swedish Pineapple Cake

Stir or mix dry ingredients
- Icing:
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 lg. can crushed pineapple (unsweetened with juice)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter, softened
Fruit Dip

Mix all ingredients together
- 13 oz. jar marshmallow creme
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 2 T. orange juice
Grandma's Noodles

Combine egg, salt and milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 T. milk
- 2 c. sifted, enriched flour
Apple-Pear-Barley Cereal

- 2 tbsp prepared barley cereal
- 2 tbsp Enchanting Apple
- 2 tbsp Sparkling Pear Puree
