Meghan's Meatballs

Combine the first 8 ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef or possum
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestshire sauce
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 10 oz. jar grape jelly
- 1 bottle chili sauce
Ground Beef Sandwichs

Grind meat medium coarse. Add onion, pickles and mayonaise to desired consistency
- 2 1/2 quarts canned beef
- 3 lg. onions, chopped
- 1/2 pint sweet pickles, minced
Grandma's Crescent Rolls

Beat together sugar, Crisco, egg and salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. BOILING water
- 4 c. flour
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3 T. warm water
Sweet Potatoes in Sauce

Mix sugars and cornstarch well in saucepan
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. orange juice
- 3 T. cornstarch
- 3 T. butter
- Salt to taste
Gumdrop Bars

Combine eggs and sugar. Beat until fluffy
- Orange Butter Frosting:
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 T. cold water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. diced gumdrops (spice or fruit flavored)
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. grated orange rind
- Pinch salt
- 3 T. orange juice
- 3 T. butter/oleo, melted
Wassail

Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven
- 2 qts. apple juice
- 2 1/4 c. pineapple juice
- 2 c. orange juice
- 1 c. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1-3 -inch stick cinnamon
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
Doris' Cowboy Cookies

Cream together oil and sugars
- 2 c. oil
- 2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. oatmeal
- 1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips
Grasshopper

- 1 shot green creme de menthe
- 1 shot dark creme de cocoa

- 1/4 c. curing salt
- 2 T. liquid smoke
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Garden Veg & Lentil Dinner

Saute carrots, celery, and sweet onions in extra-virgin olive oil in a medium pot until onions are translucent
- 2 tbsp carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp celery, chopped
- 2 tbsp sweet onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup brown lentils, picked and rinsed
- 2 tbsp tomatoes, seeded and chopped
