Refrigerator Pickles

Combine cucumbers, onions and salt and leave overnight
- 2 quarts sliced cucumbers
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 T. salt
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Quick Tator Tot Bake

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink, drain
- 3/4 to 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 sm. onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pkg. (16-oz.) frozen Tator Tot potatoes
- 1 can (10 3/4-oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 2/3 c. milk or water
- 1 c. (4-oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
Country Slaw

Chop vegetables into a large bowl
- DRESSING:
- 12 c (1 head) chopped cabbage
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 c sugar (1/2 c fructose and 1/4 c white)
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c cider vinegar
- 3/4 c vegetable oil
Salmon Casserole

Remove any skin or bone from salmon and flake
- 1 lg. can red salmon
- 3 oz. potato chips, crushed
- 4 T. butter
- 4 T. flour
- 2 1/2 c. milk
Bloody Mary

- 1 shot vodka
- Tomato juice to near top of 12 oz. glass
- 4 drops Tabasco sauce
- Pepper, to taste
- Celery salt, dash
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Garnish with celery
Taco Dip

Spread bean dip in 8x8" pan
- 1 can bean dip
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1 jar salsa
- 8 oz shredded cheese
- Green onions, sliced, or black olives, sliced
Fruit Cobbler

Melt oleo in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 or 3 c. fruit (peaches or cherries)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Chicken Divan

Cook (boil) chicken. Cook broccoli according to package
- 1 bag frozen broccoli florets
- 1 pkg shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 sleeve ritz crackers
- 2/3 c milk
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 4 to 6 boneless chicken breasts, cooked
- 2 T butter or margarine, melted
Cloth Pudding

- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 2 2/3 c. flour
- 3 T. melted butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 c. raisins, soaked in hot water for 15 minutes, drained and coated with flour (opt.)
- 1 (8 to 10-qt.) kettle
