- 1 TBSP Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 2 TBSP beeswax
- 1 TBSP Arrowroot Powder(or cornstarch)
- 2 TBSP baking soda
- 8 drops Lavender EO
- 5 drops Melaleuca EO
Memmie's Pound Cake

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hr
- Cream together:
- 3 sticks butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 3 cups sugar
- Add:
- 3 cups Swans Down Cake Flour
- 6 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Orange Cream Floats

- 1 c orange-flavored seltzer
- 1/2 c fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt
Apple Cake Squares

The bonus of this cake is that it's fast to make
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons softened butter or Spectrum Spread
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups apples, peeled, cored, finely shredded
- 1/4 cup finely chopped dates
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- GARNISH (Optional)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1 cup Tang
- 1/2 cup Wylers Lemonade Mix
- 1/2 cup Instant Tea
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
Asparagus Flatbread

1. Preheat the oven to 400°
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 12 ounces store-bought pizza dough (or to make your own, see Finishing Touches below)
- 1 bunch asparagus, ends trimmed
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Sea Scallop Surf & Turf

1 HEAT oven to 425 degrees F
- 1 head cauliflower (about 2 lb), stem removed
- 12 sea scallops (about 1 lb), side muscle removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp capers, rinsed and drained
- 1 tbsp chopped dry-packed sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 tbsp sherry wine vinegar or fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 C chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
Homemade Sauerkraut in a Mason Jar

Makes 1 to 1 1/2 quarts
- 1 medium head green cabbage (about 3 pounds)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoons caraway seeds (optional, for flavor)
- Equipment
- Cutting board
- Chef's knife
- Mixing bowl
- 2-quart widemouth canning jar (or two quart mason jars)
- Canning funnel (optional)
- Smaller jelly jar that fits inside the larger mason jar
- Clean stones, marbles, or other weights for weighing the jelly jar
- Cloth for covering the jar
- Rubber band or twine for securing the cloth
Gluten-Free Fudgy Chocolate Avocado Bread

- 1 ripe Hass Avocado, halved, seeded, peeled and mashed
- 2 c almond flour
- 1/3 c cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 c dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
Gwens Balsamic Salad Dressing
