- 1/2 tsp
- 1 Tblspoon sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 “rounded” cup flour. You might need a little more or a little less depending on how thin the batter ends up.

- 1/4 to 1/2 cup regular yellow mustard.
Grandma Ann’s Rice Pie

Recipe for 2 pies Creamy classic rice pie
- For crust::
- 3 lobs ricotta
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cooked rice (cooked in milk)
- (add rice to milk, bring to a boil then lower and simmer. 1 cup rice to 1/2 gallon milk simmered slowly, stir often. Tip-cook rice ahead of time and let cool.
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup heavy cream
- Mix everything together-set aside
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup Crisco
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp salt.

Grandma Ann's Recipe Preheat oven 400 degrees Makes about 160 small cookies
- For icing:
- 6 Cups flour
- 1 Cup white sugar
- 1 Cup shortening (Crisco)
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 Cup Orange Juice
- 1 tsp lemon extract
- 1 tsp orange extract
- 1/2 tsp baking Soda
- 6 tsp baking Powder
- Powdered sugar a little milk and a little vanilla
Ricotta Pie Grandma Madelyn

- Filling:: 3 cups Ricotta
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon & orange rinds (I don’t measure out 2 tblspns, I use about 3/4 of an orange rind and all of the lemon rind. I use a small hole cheese grater and grate the rind right into the mix.
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- For crust:: There was no separate recipe for this crust so I use Grandma Mad’s rice pie crust recipe which seems to be the one she used for this pie.

- 12 bacon slices or some cooked crumbled bacon

Quick easy fudge
- 1 Can sweetened condensed milk
- 12 oz package chocolate chips
- 1 square unsweetened baking chocolate
- 1 tsp vanilla
