- 1 red cabbage
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 10 cups white vinegar
- 6 tablespoons pickling spice

- Large bowl
- A plate or lid that fits inside the bowl
- A large pot for sterilizing jars
- 8 to 10 12-ounce Mason jars with lids

Greek Baklava

Toast the walnuts, either in a dry skillet or a 300 degree oven, until fragrant
- Syrup:
- 1 lbs. walnuts (add a couple handfuls more if you want it nuttier)
- 1.5 heaping tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. ground cloves (I tend to go toward the higher end, but it’s about what you want)
- 1 (16 oz.) package phyllo dough, thawed
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- strip of lemon peel, or a couple tsp. fresh lemon juice
Original Old Bay Shrimp Boil Shrimp Fest

- 4 Quarts Water (16 Cups)
- 1 Can Beer (optional) (12 ounces)
- 1/2 Cup Old Bay® Seasoning
- 2 Tablespoons Salt
- 8 Medium Red Potatoes, quartered

- 2 Pounds Lean Smoked Sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces

Baked Fried Chicken

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Mix in a Gallon Size Ziploc or Large Bowl:
- Place thawed chicken breast tenderloin strips in a bowl of milk. Let soak for 20-30 min.
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1 T Season All
- 3/4 tsp Pepper
- 1 c. Flour
- 2 tsp. Paprika
Easy Sour Cream Coconut Cake

This Easy Sour Cream Coconut Cake is so good and keeps well in a cool place for several days
- Cake:
- 1 (18.25 ounce) box classic white cake mix with pudding in the mix
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1 cup sweetened flaky coconut
- Mix together all ingredients except coconut with mixer. Fold in coconut with spoon. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes checking center to make sure it is done as ovens vary.
- Frosting:
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon coconut extract
- 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup sweetened flaky coconut
- Mix all ingredients except coconut with mixer. Spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle on coconut.
