- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 2 lg. cloves garlic, minced

Vanilla Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Icing

Vanilla Cake: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Vanilla Cake:
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- Vanilla Buttercream:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 3 1/2 cups icing sugar (confectioners sugar)
- 1 tsp vanilla

Dissolve yeast in warm water
- 4 C flour
- 1 t salt
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1 T sugar
- 1 1/2 C warm water
- 1 beaten egg
- Course, kosher salt
London Broil Marinade

- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 T soy sauce
- 3 T lemon juice
- 3 T oil

Mix the juice concentrates in punch bowl (do not add water)
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed (small can)
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed (small can)
- 1 (12 ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, thawed (may use 1 small can pineapple juice concentrate, thawed)

Sicilian Style Whitefish

7 Fish dinner
- 1 lb. whitefish fillets
- 2 tbs Olive oil
- 1/4 C onions
- 1 tbs minced garlic
- 3 plum tomatoes, chopped
- 1/3 C pimiento stuffed olives
- 8 Tbs butter
- pepper
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 Tbs chopped fresh basil
- 1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
- 1/3 C capers
Pita Chips

Blend oil and garlic. Brush pita w/ oil mix
- 1 pack pita, sliced into triangles (onion, plain, etc.)
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- minced onion
- parmesan cheese
- salt
Aunt Phyl's Baked Cod Italian-style

From 7 fish dinner
- 6-8 firm fresh cod fish fillets (skin and bones removed)
- 1 med. red onion
- 3 T olive oil (more as needed to moisten)
- 1-2 loaves of day old Italian bread crumbled and oil drizzled over to moisten (not to excess)
- 2 C fresh Italian flat leaf parsley, finely chopped
- 8 cloves garlic, peeled and finely minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 C golden raisins, soaked in gin for 4 days (or 30 mins in water) to plump
Elegant Chicken Crepes

- 1/4 chopped onion
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. skim milk
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. shredded swiss cheese (4 0z)
- 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms
- 2 c. chopped chicken
- 1 (10 oz) chopped cooked broccoli
Mile High Lemon Pie

Heat oven to 400. Roll out dough for 9" pie tin
- Filling:
- 1 uncooked pie crust
- 1 lg egg, beaten w/ 2 T heavy cream for glaze
- 1/3 C cornstarch
- 1/3 C sifted cake flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 1/4 C sugar
- 5 lg egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1/2 C lemon juice
- 2 T lemon zest
- 4 T unsalted butter (1/2 stick), cut into smaller pieces
- Swiss Merinque:
- 7 lg egg whites
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/4 t salt
