To complete this recipe in 30 minutes, preheat your oven before assembling your ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 garlic cloves , minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 3 cups water
- 12 ounces ziti (3 3/4 cups)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Homemade Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef until no pink remains
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour (Gluten Free: dissolve 1 tablespoon cornstarch in the beef broth)
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 3/4 cup natural, non-MSG beef broth
- 1 Tbsp Worcestshire
- 2 cups dried whole wheat elbow macaroni pasta (Gluten Free: use GF macaroni)
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Panko Stuffed Broiled Tomatoes

There is a reason why I choose to bake my tomatoes for a few minutes, before broiling them
- 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced in half
- 1/2 cup panko crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

- 3 (14.5-ounce) cans whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion , minced
- Salt
- 3 medium garlic cloves , minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pound meatloaf mix
- 10 curly-edged lasagna noodles (about 8 1/2 ounces), broken into 2-inch lengths
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese , shredded (1/2 cup)

- SAUCE:
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

- NOTE*:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 boneless beef bottom round roast* (3 to 4-pound), trimmed, cut into 2-inch chunks, and seasoned with salt and black pepper
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup gin
- 1 tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca**, ground
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoon pickling spices, wrapped in cheesecloth and tied with kitchen string
- 2 teaspoons sugar (my addition to the sauce, which seemed just a tad too tart, when I tasted it)
- 6 medium carrots, halved crosswise, then halved lengthwise
- 4 ribs celery, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, quarted
- 10 gingersnap cookies, crushed
- Ask your butcher for chuck-eye roast, which is a very tender cut of beef, and has more marble to it You'll be much happier with this cut of beef.
- I used one tablespoon of Clearjel, that I order from King Arthur Flour.com. It's great for thickening stews and pies.
