Heat the oven and prep the pan
- 8 8 8 tablespoons(1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 1 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 2 2 2 large eggs
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 3 3 medium bananas, very ripe
- 2 2 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 1 1 (8x5-inch)loaf pan
- Parchment paper
- Large Large bowl
- Whisk or fork, if making by hand
- Stand mixer or hand mixer, if not making by hand
- Spatula
Asparagus and Portobello Mushrooms with Goat Cheese

1. Either light a medium fire in grill or preheat broiler
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary -- minced
- 2 medium cloves garlic -- minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice from 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

- 1 1/4 pounds asparagus spears -- tough ends snapped off

- 1 cup orzo

- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Kale Salad with Dates, Parmesan and Almonds

In a bowl, whisk juice, shallot, honey, salt and pepper flakes
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 shallot, chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 bunches kale, stems removed, leaves shredded or finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

- 8 ounces ginger snaps, crushed
- 1 ⁄2 cup chopped pecans or 1⁄2 cup walnuts

- 1 1⁄4 cups mascarpone cheese
- 3 ⁄4 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 9 ounces white chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 1 1⁄2 cups fresh raspberries or 1 1⁄2 cups frozen raspberries
- For the topping
- 1 ⁄2 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 ⁄3 cup ricotta cheese

Pureed Broccoli Soup | Eating Well

Heat butter and oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat until the butter melts
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped

- 8 cups chopped broccoli (stems and florets)
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth, “no-chicken” broth (see Note) or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup half-and-half (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground pepper to taste

- 3 tablespoons gold tequila
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 teaspoons grated lime peel
- 4 large eggs
- 1 thin lime slices (garnish)
