Blueberry Pancake Bake

to make the pancakes: combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
- for the pancakes:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup blueberries
- to assemble:
- 6 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

Fresh Cranberry Ginger Vanilla Margaritas with Sugared Cranberries

for the VANILLA GINGER SYRUP: Add the water and sugar to a small saucepan
- for the MARGARITAS:
- 2 1/2 ounces fresh cranberry juice (recipe below)
- 2 1/2 ounces vanilla ginger syrup (recipe below)

- 1 ounces Grand Marnier
- 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila

- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger

- 6 ounces fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup water
- for the SUGARED CRANBERRIES:
- 6 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup water
Slow-Cooked Bolognese Sauce

Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven or large skillet over medium heat
- To serve:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
- 2 to 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef

- 1 1/2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, finely grated
