  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (not bought, dry your own white bread and break into pieces)

  • 1/4 cup finely cut onion
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 Tbs mustard
  • 1 tsp vinegar
