PreparationBlend: In a blender, puree the first 5 ingredients and 3 tbsp
- 24 oz. frozen corn kernels, thawed
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 /2 cup finely chopped shallots
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- large pinch of crumbled saffron
- 7 tbsp. EVOO
- 5 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped preserved lemon peel
- 1 tsp. grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 /2 tsp. finely chopped red chile, plus thin slices for garnish
Spiced Lamb Chops

Combine first 5 ingredients in small skillet
- whole cloves
- small dried chiles (such as chiles de árbol), stemmed
- fennel seeds
- cumin seeds
- whole black peppercorns
- whole-milk plain yogurt
- finely grated peeled fresh ginger
- lamb rib chops (each about 1 inch thick), excess fat trimmed

- Fresh mint sprigs (for garnish)
Veggie Pad Thai

In a small bowl, whisk the brown sugar, vinegar, fish sauce and lime juice
- 1/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 5 teaspoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 6 ounces flat rice noodles (sometimes labeled pad Thai noodles)

- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 14 ounce container extra-firm tofu, drained and diced

Arrange crescent rolls on a 12-in
- 2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
- 2/3 cup condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh broccoli
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped water chestnuts
- 1 can (5 ounces) white chicken, drained or 3/4 cup cubed cooked chicken
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
Brie & Cherry Pastry Cups

Heat oven to 375. Spray 36 miniature muffin cups with cooking spray
- 1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry, thawed
- 1/3 to 1/2 C. Red Cherry Preserves
- 4 oz. Brie Cheese, cut int 1 1/2 in. pieces (36 pieces)
- 1/4 C. Chopped Pecans
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh Chives, chopped

- sourdough
- butter
- cream cheese
- shredded sharp cheddar
- roasted jalapeno, seeded, cut in strips
- cooked bacon
- Optional: after cooking, add fresh tomato slices w/salt
