King Arthurs Classic White Bread

soft white loaf that is good for sandwiches and toast
- 9 to 10 ounces lukewarm water*
- 1 1/8 ounces honey
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 ounce soft butter
- 17 ounces King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/4 ounces Baker's Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk granules
- *Use the lesser amount in summer or humid climates; the greater amount in winter or drier climates.
Ginger salad dressing

Mix all ingredients and put in blender and blend to a paste
- 1 onion, minced
- 1/2 cup ground nut oil
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp celerly stalks, chopped
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 4 tsp soy
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic, grated
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

- 6 tablespoons (3 ounces) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces) granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (5 5/8 ounces) brown sugar, lightly packed
- 3 tablespoons (2 1/4 ounces) honey
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon espresso powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon (1/2 ounce) cider vinegar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 cups (8 ounces) King Arthur White Whole Wheat Flour, organic preferred
- 2 2/3 to 3 cups (16 to 18 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°:F. Lightly grease (or line with parchment) two baking sheets.

eheat oven to 350°. Bring a large stockpot of salted water to boil
- White Sauce
- 6 tbs butter
- 6 tbs all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup shallot, minced
- 1/4 cup celery, minced
- Minced cayenne pepper, seeds and pith removed, minced, optional
- 3 cups milk or chicken broth (if using broth, add 1/2 cup heavy cream to finished sauce before combining to make the casserole)
- 2 cups shredded white cheese like cheddar or monterey jack
- 1/4 cup sherry, optional but recommended
- 1/4-1/2 tsp chili flakes
- Salt & Pepper (use white pepper if available)

- 1 cup (maybe more) bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated parmesan-type cheese
- 1 pound penne

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 8 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

- 5 cubes chicken bouillon
