- 1 1/2 cup (3 sticks) butter, at room temperature
- 2 pounds confectioners' sugar
- 8 to 10 tablespoons light cream or milk
- 3 teaspoons clear vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup solid white vegetable shortening, such as Crisco
- 1 pound confectioners' sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons clear vanilla extract

- 16 16 jar 16 oz jar Pace Picante salsa (I use medium)

- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
