Leek and Mushroom Tart

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed per package directions
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 to 4 large leeks (about 2 pounds), white and pale green parts sliced thin and rinsed well
- 1 pound mixed mushrooms, sliced
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme leaves
- 1 cup grated Gruyere or Swiss cheese, divided
Frittata di Spaghetti

Tip: Use any leftover pasta you have in your fridge
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups leftover spaghetti in red sauce (or any leftover pasta you may have)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 10 slices bacon (about 8 oz.)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 large stalk celery, chopped
- 2 cans (16 oz.) pork and beans

1. Adjust oven racks to upper-middle and lower-middle positions and heat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 cups slivered almonds
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces
- 1/2 cup (3 1/2 ounces) sugar
- 1/4 cup orange marmalade
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon grated orange zest

Mushroom-Bacon Pasta

- 1/2 lb spaghetti (or linguini)
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 ounces diced bacon
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (see first line of directions)
- 2 teaspoons capers, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

- 2/3 cups (3 1/3 ounces) all-purpose flour

The Quintessential Pineapple-Rum Upside-Down Pound Cake

- For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 large pineapple, scored and sliced into 1/3 slices OR 1 large can pineapple slices (about 10)
- 1/4 cup Meyers's dark rum
- 1/2 whipping cream
- 10 large maraschino cherries, well drained
- For the cake:
- 2 cups sifted cake flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup butter at room temperature
- 1 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp Meyers's dark rum
- For Glaze:
- 4 TBS butter at room temperature
- 2 TBS water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 Meyers's dark rum

Separate dough into 8 biscuits
- 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers refrigerated original or buttermilk biscuits
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked or 16 frozen (thawed) cooked meatballs
- 1 block (8 oz) Cheddar cheese, cut into 16 cubes
- 16 slices bacon
- Long toothpicks or skewers
- Canola oil for frying
