Inside Out Apple Crisp

Inside Out Crockpot Apple Crisp – Suitable for babies 7-8 months
- 1/4 cup brown sugar – more or less or none, it’s up to you. I made this as a treat so I used 1/4 cup for my older kiddos
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped – optional – NOT for babies
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 Macintosh apples, cored
- 1 water – you could use 1 cup of apple juice if you really want a totally apple flavor but it does not need juice
- maple syrup to drizzle
Cayenne-Rubbed Chicken with Avocado Salsa

In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and cayenne; rub all over chicken
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, (6 to 8 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 Hass avocado, pitted and cut into chunks
Chicken Tinga Tacos

Heat 3 tablespoons of the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 1/2 pounds trimmed, skinless, bone-in chicken thighs
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- One 28-ounce can diced tomatoes
- 2 canned chipotles in adobo, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 24 corn tortillas
- 2 ounces Cotija cheese, crumbled
- Sliced scallions and chopped cilantro, for garnish

- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 26 ounce jarred or homemade pasta sauce
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved, optional)
- 1 15 ounce container ricotta cheese
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- lasagna noodles (uncooked)
Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups (210 grams) all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 (11.5 oz) bag milk chocolate chips (I prefer Hersheys)

Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, mix together meatball ingredients until well-combined
- Meatball Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. ground pork or ground beef
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 cup Panko or breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 2 eggs
- 3 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup thinly-sliced green onions
- optional garnish: toasted sesame seeds, sliced scallions
- Asian Sauce Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. ground ginger

- 3 cups hot tap water (not hot enough to burn)
- 2 TBSP Honey
- 6-8 cups whole wheat or unbleached white flour (approximate amount)

- 1 TBSP Real Salt
- 1 TBSP Dough Enhancer
- Garlic or Garlic Powder
- Italian Seasonings
