  • Ingredients:
  • A New York-Style Vegan "Cheesecake"
  • The Crust
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup vegan margarine, melted
  • 2 a small bowl combine these 2 ingredients, mix well, then spread into the bottom of a springform pan. Set aside.
  • The "Cheesecake"
  • 3 1/4 3 1/4, 8 8 ounce containers Toffuti brand Non-hydrogenated Better Than Tofu Cream Cheese
  • 1 1 1 tablespoon vegan powdered egg-replacer
  • 4 4 4 tablespoons water
  • 14 14 to ounces vegan "sweet and condensed milk" (recipe to follow)
  • 2 2 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • For the vegan "sweet and condensed milk":
  • 1 1 1 cup powdered soy milk
  • 1/3 1/3 2 cup plus 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup melted vegan margarine
  • 2/3 2/3 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/8 1/8 1/8 teaspoon vanilla
