  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 c panko
  • 2 small carrots, quartered lengthwise and sliced
  • 2 leeks, white and light-green parts only, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 c heavy cream
  • 3/4 c chicken stock
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/2 c frozen peas
  • 1-1/2 tsp chopped fresh tarragon
  • 12 oz extra wide egg noodles
  • I doubled this recipe, but there were too many noodles. Maybe a bag and a half would have been fine.
