To make sauce: In a medium bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and mix well

  • Blooming Onion:

  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 1-1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/8 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/8 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 3/4 c vegetable oil for frying
  • Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp cream-style horseradish sauce
  • 1/3 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
