The Ultimate Chocolate Cake Recipe

Cake: Position rack in center of oven; preheat to 325° F
- Cake:
- 2 cups cake flour
- 3/4 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 cups golden brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Optional: 10-12 strawberries, sliced (for inside the cake and a garnish)
- Frosting:
- 1/3 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups chilled heavy whipping cream, divided
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 16 ounces of cream cheese
Pineapple Pretzel Salad

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 (20 ounce) cans crushed pineapple
- 1/2 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
Classic Corn Dogs and Cheese-On-A-Stick

- 6 cups Krusteaz Pancake Mix
- 2 cups Yellow Corn Meal
- 2 whole Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- 6 cups Water, More If Needed To Thin Batter

- Cheese, Cut Into 1/2-inch X 3 Inch Sticks

- Canola Oil, For Frying

- 1 1-pound package ground sausage

- 1 pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1/3 c. lemon juice (fresh or ReaLemon)
- 1 graham cracker crust
Genius Chocolate-Chip Blondies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- (makes an 8×8 pan)
- ◾1 1/2 cups chickpeas or white beans (1 can, drained and rinsed) (250g after draining)
- ◾3/4 tsp baking powder
- ◾1/8 tsp baking soda
- ◾level 1/4 tsp salt
- ◾3/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar (See note below, for substitutions)
- ◾2 tsp vanilla extract
- ◾1/4 cup ground flax or quick oats (20g)
- ◾1/4 cup peanut butter (or other fat source) (see nutrition link below, for lower-cal options)
- ◾optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips (Not “optional” if you’re CCK!)
Chocolate Bundt Cake- Very Good - #

In a large mixing bowl, combine cake and pudding mixes, cocoa, milk and eggs
- 1 package chocolate cake mix
- 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 tbsp. baking cocoa
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- confectioners' sugar
Steel Cut Oats

Instructions 1.Bring to a boil on the stove
- 2 cups steel cut oats
- 6 cups water
- This feeds my whole family of 5 in the morning. But adjust it to fit your needs. Just remember 3 parts water to 1 part grain.
