NANA's Noodle kugel

Beat eggs & sugar with an electric beater until light & foaming
- 1 pkg broad noodles (cooked)
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/3 cup sugar ( sweet' n low can be substituted)
- 1 cup orange juice
- raisins
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Passover Mandelbroit

Mix all ingredients in large bowl
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 11/2 cups cake meal
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 6 tbl potato starch
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- cinnamon & sugar for topping
Stuffed Peppers

cut bottoms & tops of peppers off so pepper sits upright in roasting pan
- 6 peppers(use either yellow, orange or red. green ones tend to be bitter)
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 egg
- salt & pepper to your taste
- handful of flat leaf parsley
- 2 medium size cloves of garlic
- 1lb can of fire roasted tomatoes
Grandma Shapiro's Apple Cake or Rugelach

Add all dry ingredients, make a well, and to this add the beaten eggs, oil, and juice
- 6 cups
- flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup pineapple juice or 1/2 cup wine if desired
- sugar, cinnamon, nuts, & raisins
Lamb Shank

cut the roots from leeks. discard tough outer leaves
- 1 bunch leek
- 3 tbl olive oil
- 3 - 3 1/2 lamb shank
- 4 - 5 cloves garlic (sliced)
- 8- 10 baby carrots
- 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
- salt, pepper
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
Gazpacho Salad

Mix all ingredients in a large serving bowl
- 1 pound(s) grape tomatoes, or cherry tomatoes, halved (about 4 cups)
- 1 medium English cucumber, peeled, halved lengthwise, chopped (about 2 cups)
- 2 stalk(s) (medium) celery, stalks, halved lengthwise, thinly sliced (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 1 item(s) (small) bell pepper(s), green, cored, seeded, chopped (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 1 small red onion(s), chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 clove(s) (medium) garlic clove(s), minced
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp table salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
- 1/8 tsp hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Banana Pancakes

mix together & make pancakes
- 1 cup flour ( whole wheat)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp corn oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp honey or 1/2 tbl
- 1 mashed banana
saucy chicken

Pour 1/2 cup of the broth, into wide bowl, place flour mixture on plate
- 2 cups chicken broth, divided
- 1/4 seasoned flour(flour mixed with dash salt & pepper)
- 4 (4oz) skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 can(16oz) stewed tomatoes
- 3-4 scallions, chopped

- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 bunch scallions
- 4 crushed cloves of garlic
Apple Crumb Pie

Mix ingredients in a large bowl
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar( depending on tartness of apples)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- lemon juice to taste
- 3 or 4 lbs. of apples sliced thin
- topping
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
