Crockpot Bowtie Casserole

Brown ground beef with onion and garlic
- 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (15 0z) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- salt/pepper
- 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed ( can also fresh spinach)
- 16 oz bowtie pasta, cooked
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
Going Spiral

Prepare pasta according to package instructions
- Salad
- 6 oz. (about 2 cups) uncooked rotini pasta with at least 4g fiber per 2-oz. serving
- 1 zucchini, chopped
- 1 large tomato, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1 large cucumber, chopped
- 1 cup artichoke hearts packed in water, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers packed in water, drained and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- Dressing
- 1/3 cup fat-free Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
- 2 tbsp. sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained, patted dry, finely chopped
- Optional: salt and black pepper

- 1 1/2 sticks (6-ounces) margarine, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 (6-ounce) package slivered almonds

- 1 chicken (about 3lbs) cut in pieces
- 2 lbs chopped beef formed in meatballs
- 2 large onion, sliced
- 2 kernels garlic
- 2-4 carrots cut up
- 1 tbl chopped parsley
- 1 tbl flour
- salt, pepper, paprika to taste

- 4 large apples , Granny Smith or any tart apple, cored and cut into dice
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 6 plain matzoh
- 8 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup ( 8 tbl) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1 cup dried apricots, medium, chopped
- 4 tbl butter or margarine, cut into small pieces, for casserole topping
