BEST Chocolate Cake with a little help

any choclate cake mix plus
- 1 Chocolate Cake Mix(i use devils food)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- extra mini chips for decorating
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Pkg. of Chocolate Pudding (small 3.5 oz. box)
- For the frosting
- 3 egg whites
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 plus 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
Turkey Meatloaf

- 3 cups chopped yellow onions (2 large onions)
- 2 tablespoons good olive oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 1 1/2 teaspoons tomato paste
- 5 pounds ground turkey breast
- 1 1/2 cups plain dry bread crumbs
- 3 extra-large eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup ketchup
Chimichurri Sauce

- 1 cup cilantro leaves
- 1 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
- 3/4 to 1 cup olive oil
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 8 oz unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 10 oz chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup Dried Tart Cherries

- 1/2 cup cold water

Modern Day Chicken Soup

Best cure for the common cold
- 2 tablespoons (2 turns around the pan) extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1-2 parsnip, peeled and chopped
- 1 Large vidalia onion, chopped
- 4 ribs celery, chopped
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 bay leaves, fresh or dried
- Salt and pepper
- 6 cups good quality chicken stock
- 2 pound (the average weight of 2 packages) chicken breast tenders, diced
- 1/2 pound wide egg noodles
- A handful fresh parsley, chopped
- A handful fresh dill, chopped
substitute for self rising flour

- 2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder

- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or chunks
Passover Brisket

pre heat oven to 500 degrees F
- Ingredients
- 8 to 10 pound brisket
- Garlic cloves
- 1 quart beef stock (unsalted or low salt)
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons Essence, recipe follows
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- Essence
- 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight jar or container.
- Yield: about 2/3 cup
