Starbucks Lemon Loaf

1. Preheat oven to 350. 2
- 1-1 ⁄2 cups flour
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs, room temp
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 1 ⁄3 cup lemon juice
- 1 ⁄2 cup oil
- zest of one lemon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon lemon extract
Asian Chicken Salad

For the salad: 1. Using a vegetable peeler, shave the carrot and add to a large salad bowl
- Salad:
- 1 large carrot, peeled
- 3 cups shredded napa cabbage, from 1 small cabbage
- 3 cups shredded romaine lettuce, from 1 small lettuce
- 1 small red bell pepper, seeded and deveined, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh Thai basil leaves or fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 2 cups thinly sliced store-bought rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 1 tablespoon toasted white or black sesame seeds
- Dressing:
- 1/4 cup peanut or vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Strawberry Santas

For the frosting: 1. In a medium bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the mascarpone and vanilla until smooth
- 1/4 cup mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

- 1 bag or 1-1/2 cups frozen raspberries, defrosted

Blackberry Spritzer

- 1 pint blackberries, plus more for garnish
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves, plus 4 leaves for garnish

- 1/2 cup milk

Short Ribs with Tagliatelle

1. Place the olive oil in a large heavy soup pot over medium heat
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 ounces chopped pancetta (about 1/2 cup)
- 2-1/2 pounds short ribs

- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
