  • 2 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 tablespoon brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mixed fresh herbs, such as parsley, basil, chives, oregano or rosemary
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cloves garlic, mashed to a paste
  • 2 rib-eye steaks (about 8 ounces each, 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

With this being T H E busiest time of year, I thought it fitting to now share my favorite tried & true basic fudge

  • 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs (lightly whisked)
  • 1/4 cup powdered cocoa
  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour (add a dash of baking soda & a pinch of Salt if using all purpose flour)
  • 1/2-1 cup pecans or walnuts
