1. Heat oven to 400°F. Line cookie sheet with cooking parchment paper
- 4 medium apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 Tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
- 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
- Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water)
- Sugar for sprinkling tops of turnovers

Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
- 1 cup dried cherries, currants, or raisins
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 2 cups cake flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for work surface
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces, chilled
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 large egg plus 1 large egg yolk (reserve 1 egg white for egg wash)

- 1 package (10 oz./300 g) frozen chopped spinach, cooked, cooled and squeezed dry
- 1 container (16 oz.) nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Light Mayonnaise
- 1 package Knorr® Vegetable recipe mix
- 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped (optional)
- 3 green onions, chopped (optional)

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) with the rack in the middle
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 6 tbsps unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsps instant espresso powder (dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water)
- 3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate (chopped)
- 3/4 cup toasted walnuts (/pecans, chopped)
- 1/2 cup bittersweet chocolate (for chocolate swirls. I sometimes use half white chocolate for contrast)
- 1 tsp instant espresso powder (dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water)
Chow Mein (Pioneer Woman)

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the package directions
- 8 ounces thin lo mein noodles
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1/2 head napa cabbage, sliced thin
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Sliced green onions, for topping
