- 1/2 cup of sugar.

- 2 cups of milk.
- 4 separated eggs.
- 1 tbsp of vanilla flavor.
- 1 box of nilla vanilla wafers.
- 4 medium ripe bananas.
Pecan Meltaways

A light little ball that melts in your mouth
- 1 C butter, softened
- 1/2 C confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 C all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 C finely chopped pecans
- Additional confectioners sugar
From Fresh Pumpkin to Puree to Pie

This recipe uses fresh pumpkin puree, not from a can
- For the Puree:
- You will need one 4 to 5 pound pumpkin.
- This will make more than enough puree. (What you don't use freezes nicely.)
- For the Pie filling:
- 2 C pumpkin puree
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 can (12 1/2 oz) undiluted evaporated milk
- 1 9 inch unbaked pie crust
Pulled Pork, with Bourbon-Mango

- 2 mangos
- 1 (4 pound) pork shoulder roast
- 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chile powder
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger bourbon whiskey
- 2 (12 ounce) bottles barbeque sauce

- You will need a double pie crust
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 4 Tbls plus 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 C cold water
- 3 Tbls lemon juice
- 3 C fresh blueberries
- 1 C fresh raspberries
- 1 C fresh black berries

- CRUST:
- 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- FILLING and TOPPING:

- 1 5-6 lb boneless pork shoulder roast, trimmed and tied to retain it;s shape
- 3 Tbls olive oil
- salt and fresh ground black pepper
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 Tbls snipped fresh rosemary
- 1 C balsamic vinegar
- 1 C dry red wine
- 1 1/2 C pitted dried plums and or apricots
- 1 1/2 C dried figs, halved
- 1 quince, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped (optional)
- 4 medium apples peeled, cored and quartered
