- 4 large potatoes, peeled
- 1 medium onion
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 2 tbsp. flour or matzo meal
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- Peanut oil for frying

Prepare the dumpling mixture: Pour water into pressure cooker
- Dumplings:

- 8 medium sized onions, sliced
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 tsp. coarse salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 3/4 tsp. dried thyme
- 2 Tbs. gin (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Italian parsley chopped, for garnish
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled, cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 Tbs. sour cream
- 1 green onion, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesean cheese
- 3 Tbs. butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Broccoli Soup

Turn on low and just let simmer, do not let it boil
- Add:
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 3 small onions
- 3 stalks celery
- 3 gloves garlic
- Fry in margarine and gradually
- add 1/3-1/2 cup flour.
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- Broccoli which has been parboiled

- 2 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, or more to taste
- 2 stalk(s) celery, chopped (medium)
- 8 oz Bamboo shoots, canned, drained
- 8 oz canned water chestnuts, sliced, drained
- 1 1/2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cup(s) cooked white rice, kept hot
- 1 3/4 oz dry-roasted cashews, chopped (about 6 Tbsp)
