- 2 cups (264 g) vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt or ice cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant coffee
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) milk
- 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- For the cream cheese spread:
- 2 cups coarsely chopped dates (10 ounces pitted)
- 1 cup dried tart cherries
- 1/3 cup orange liqueur (recommended: Cointreau or Triple Sec)

- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons (7.3 ounces) sugar

Coat a large, wide pan with olive oil and bring the pan to a medium-high heat

- 1 pound fennel sausage, cut into bite- size pieces
- 2 (3-pound) chickens, cut into 8 to 10 pieces with bone left intact

- 1 Spanish onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices
