- 3/4 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup orzo
Chocolate Whoopie Pie

In a bowl combine flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt; set aside
- Filling Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup thick sour milk or buttermilk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shortening (can substitute butter for half of the shortening)
- 1 cup confectionary sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup marshmallow creme
- 1 to 2 teaspoons of milk (as needed)

Method 1 Cook two strips of bacon on medium heat until done, about 5 minutes
- A handful of fresh frisee lettuce, torn into bite sized pieces ot greens of choice
- 2 strips bacon
- 1 teaspoon chopped shallots
- 1 slice French or Italian bread and a little butter to make buttered croutons
- 1 Poached egg
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
