Fermented Raspberry Soda

In a bowl, stir the raspberries with the sugar and 2 cups boiling water until the sugar dissolves
- 10 oz. frozen raspberries, thawed
- 1 ⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Grandma Bell's Onion Tart

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 (9-inch) frozen ready-to-bake pie shell, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 sweet onions, thinly sliced
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
Fried Rice

Heat 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a large saute pan over medium-high heat until melted
- Variation by Jet Tila:
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 eggs, whisked
- 2 medium carrots, peeled and diced

- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Potato Crusted Halibut with Tartar Sauce

1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 450 degrees
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles, plus 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- 1 small shallot, minced
- 1 tablespoon capers, rinsed and chopped fine
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 (6-ounce) skinless halibut fillets, 1 inch thick
- 2 cups potato chips, crushed

- 6 ounces goat cheese, crumbled (about a heaping cup)

- 2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
