Apple Crumble Pie - Creme De La Crumb

- 1 pie crust (your favorite homemade or store-bought)
- 5 medium fuji or gala apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- topping
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 up sugar
- 6 tablespoons chilled butter, diced
- vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, coarse sea salt (optional)
Pineapple Upside-Down Cupcakes

Well, I didn't make pineapple upside-down cake exactly
- Topping:
- 1 (14 to 15 oz.) can pineapple tidbits or rings*, drained with juice reserved
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 T. butter
- 1/8 c. pineapple juice, reserved from draining pineapple
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- Vanilla Cupcakes: (or use your favorite vanilla cupcake recipe)
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- A scant 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 T. butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. whole milk (I also tried it with 2% milk, and it worked fine)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- Maraschino cherries for garnish

- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup salted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 4 egg whites
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips (plus more for decorating the outside of the cake)
- Icing
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 12 cups powdered sugar
- 5-6 tbsp cherry juice

- Cookie pie:
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chopped candy bars (I used Snickers, Twix, peanut butter cups, and M & M's)
