- Sour cream, green onion, and pickled jalapenos (recipe here), for topping

- 1 1 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 1 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup lager-style beer

- 140 grams (1 cup) plain flour
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) milk
- Chocolate frosting
- 115 grams (1/2 cup or 1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 435 grams (3 and 1/2 cups) powdered or icing sugar
- 3 or 4 tablespoons milk
- 20 grams (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
- 6 large peanut butter cups or 12 mini ones

- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated white sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large egg whites
- BUTTERCREAM FROSTING:
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) salted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (use clear extract, if you really want it white)
