In the spirit of the season, I was trying to think of something “fall-ish” and yummy to make with apples
- 12 frozen dinner rolls, thawed
- ?2 Granny Smith apples, chopped (you can peel them if you would like to, but I didn't . . . it's all about the shortcuts!)?

- 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped

- 1/2 c unsalted butter, melted, cooled to room temperature
- 1/2 c light brown sugar
- 1 and 1/2 c all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- for the filling:
- 1 c Greek yogurt or sour cream (I used 2% Plain Chobani Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 c canned pumpkin puree
- 3/4 c granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
