Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing

In blender or bullet, combine sugar, lemon juice, onion, mustard and salt
- Dressing:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup oil
- Salad:
- 1 large head romaine
- 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 1 cup cashews
- 1/4 sweetened dried cranberries
- 1 apple, cubed
- 1 pear, cubed
Brownies

Melt butter, dissolve in cocoa
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- dash salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cups pecans
Ginger Sparkles

Form into balls and roll in sugar
- Cream together:
- 3/4 cup marg/butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- Mix together, then blend in:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda

- 2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 1 cup cold butter
- 1/4 to 1/2 cups ice water

- 1 tbsp dried parsley for blending (1 tsp reserved)
- 1/2 tsp dried dill weed for blending (1/2 tsp reserved)

- 1 tsp dried onion flakes

- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp pieces dried portabella mushrooms

- 1 can (284 ml) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder

- 1/2 tbsp curry powder
- Topping:
- 1/2 c fine bread crumbs
