- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1 1/2 cups dry milk solids
- 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
- 1 quart thin sliced peaches mixed with 1 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 t baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups plain flour
- Quick and Easy Cobbler
- Combine 3 cups fresh peaches and 3/4 cup sugar
- Let stand 20 minutes
- Melt 1 stick butter in 1 1/2 quart baking dish in 350 oven
- Sift together
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 t baking powder
- Add 1 cup milk and stir briskly - lumps will remain
- Pour into baking dish of melted butter, top with peaches
- Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees

- To prevent darkening, add fresh fruit to sugar or lemon juice or Fresh Fruit to syrup
- To Can Peaches
- Prepare syrup with 3 cups sugar with 4 cups of water and bring to a boil, cool
- Remove skins and pits and drop into syrup
- Pack peaches into jars
- Heat syrup and pour over peaches
- Seal and process in boiling water, 20 minutes for quarts, 15 minutes for pints
