- 1 tsp garlic powder

Brandy Poundcake

Cream butter and 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 5 large eggs, separated
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
Bittersweet Spinach Salad

Mound equal amounts of the spinach on two salad plates
- 4 1/2 cups baby spinach leaves
- 6 slices Roma tomato
- 1/4 cup crumbled Blue cheese
- 2 tbsp golden raisins
- 2 tbsp candied pecans
- 1/4 cup sliced roasted red pepper
- Balsamic Vinaigrette
Mom's Pork Satay

1. In a medium-size bowl, blend all ingredients together, except pork
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 crushed garlic cloves or 1 tsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 2 pork tenderloins, about 1-1/2 lbs
Golden Bundt Cake

Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 5 oz can evaporated milk plus water to make 1 cup
- 2 tsp vanilla
Olive Garden Toscana Soup

Combine the stock and cream in a saucepan over medium heat
- 2 3/4 cups chicken stock or broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 medium russet potato
- 2 cups chopped kale
- 1/2 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 1/4 /tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
White Balsamic Vinaigrette

Combine the vinegar, sugar, shallots, garlic, Dijon mustard and pepper in a bowl and mix well
- 1 cup white balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 minced shallots
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 cups vegetable oil
Crunchy Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients
- 3 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 12 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
- DRESSING
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar

- 1 1/4 cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted

- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1 bar Toblerone chocolate, coarsley chopped (100 g)
