1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 10-inch angel food (tube) cake pan with removable bottom with cooking spray

- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 container (8 oz) sour cream

- For the Root Beer Bundt Cake:
- 2 cups root beer* (NOT diet – don’t say I didn’t warn you)
- 1 cup dark unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
- You can replace 1/2 cup of this with root beer schnapps if you can find it for a stronger root beer flavor; I would also recommend using 1 teaspoon of root beer extract, if you have it.
- For the Root Beer Fudge Frosting:
- 2 ounces (about 1/3 cup) dark chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 cup root beer
- 2/3 cup dark unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar

This recipe is a result of a request and a discovery of a spicy chai latte mix that can be found at Trader Joes
- 1 box yellow cake mix (I used a butter recipe yellow mix)
- 1 1/4 cups hot water
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup instant spicy chai latter mix

Prepare and cook corn; cut enough kernels from corn to measure 2 cups
- 4 ears fresh corn, or 1 10-ounce package frozen whole kernel corn, cooked and draned, or 1 16-ounce can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 small onion,chopped (about 1/4 c up)
- 1/2 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or margaarine
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon paparika
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- Dash of pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup cracker crumbs
