Lemony Cooler

In a pitcher, combine the grape juice, sugar and lemon juice; stir until sugar is dissolved
- 3 cups white grape juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 bottle (1 liter) club soda, chilled
- Ice cubes
- Assorted fresh fruit, optional
Cinnamon Roll Muffins

To the flour, whisk in the salt and baking soda
- * For the filling:
- 1 * 1 cup milk buttermilk*
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 * 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 * 1 egg
- 3 to 3 1/2 * 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour
- * softened butter
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 * 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- * OPTIONAL:
- 1 * 1 cup raisins
- * OPTIONAL ICING:
- 2/3 * 2/3 c. powdered sugar
- 2-3 * 2-3 Tb. milk
- 1/2 * 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- * *NOTE: If you don't have buttermilk, you can add either 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar and set it aside for at least 5-10 minutes
Cranberry Pumpkin Bread

1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and spices
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon each ground ginger, nutmeg and cloves
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 1 cup canola oil
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Dorotha's Yeast Rolls

Sift flour and salt into a greased bowl
- 9 cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons salt
- 3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 9 Tablespoons melted Crisco and butter
- 4 eggs well beaten
- 2 packages yeast
Freezer Crescent Rolls

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water
- 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 cups warm water (110º - 115º)
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup mashed potato flakes
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 6 - 6 1/2 cups all purpose flour
French Toast Casserole

Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish with butter and fill the dish with the bread cubes, distributing evenly
- 2 teaspoons butter, softened
- 8 slices white bread, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 7 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 4 Tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- Maple syrup for serving
Pat's Perfect Buttermilk Biscuits

Preheat oven to 450° F. In medium mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup Crisco shortening
- 1 cup buttermilk
Raised Doughnuts

Combine the sponge ingredients in a small bowl and stir them with a fork until smooth
- For the sponge:
- 4.2 ounces all-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoons instant yeast
- 3.5 ounces lukewarm water
- 1 large egg
- For the doughnuts:
- 5.8 ounces all-purpose flour
- 2.5 teaspoons instant yeast
- 0.6 ounces dry milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 ounces sugar
- 1 large egg, cold
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ounces butter at room temperature
- Canola oil for frying
- Extra fine sugar for rolling (for jelly doughnuts)
- Raspberry or other fruit jam for filling (for jelly doughnuts)

Preheat oven to 275. Grease a 9x13 pan
- Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 c bananas, mashed, ripe (about 4-5 bananas)
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 3 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 c butter, softened
- 2 1/8 c sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 c buttermilk (can use 11/2 cup milk with 1 1/2 T.
- vinegar or lemon juice)
- Cream Cheese Frosting
- Ingredients:
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 1/2 c powdered sugar
- Garnish:
- chopped walnuts
Banana Walnut Cake w/ fresh strawberries

- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 ripe banana's
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. oats
- 1 1/2 c. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- Frosting:
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 4 Tbs. butter
- 2 1/2 c. powered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbs. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
- 10 strawberries, cut and slightly smashed
