Sour Cream Pound Cake

Cream butter in bowl. Gradually beat in sugar until light and fluffy (about 5-7 minutes)
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- optional - confectioners sugar
Double Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, cocoa, and baking powder in small bowl; set aside
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries
- additional sugar for cookie tops
Vanilla Pound Cake

Note: I never use salt when I bake
- CAKE
- 3/4 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3-oz. package cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 5 large eggs, at room temperature
- 3 tb milk
- 1 3/4 c. + 2 tb. unbleached all-purpose flour
- TOPPING
- 2 tb. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. water
Creamy Vegetable Dip

Beat cream cheese and milk at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy
- 1 (8-oz.) package fat-free cream cheese, softened
- 2 tb. fat-free milk
- 2 tb. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tsp. Ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 green onion, chopped (about 2 tb.)
Sour Cream Blueberry Cake

1. Set the oven at 325 degrees
- BATTER
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt, preferably ultra-fine sea salt
- 1 3/4 cups fresh blueberries, picked over for stems and leaves
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 cup s sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
- 4 teaspoons grated lemon rind
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup sour cream
- GLAZE
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 . In a small mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice and sugar. Stir well; the sugar will not dissolve.
- 2 . With a brush paint the glaze over the top and sides of the warm cake, dipping into the bottom of the glaze mixture to catch the sugar with each stroke. Leave to cool completely.
Giant Ginger Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 3/4 cup coarse sugar or granulated sugar
