White Cheddar Mac and Cheese

Cook pasta according to package directions while making the sauce
- 1/4 Cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 Cup Milk
- 2 Cups heavy cream
- 2 1/2 Cups Shredded White Cheddar (preferably Cabot Cheese - do not us pre-shredded cheese)
- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 lb. pasta, cooked

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 2 Tlbs half and half or whole milk
Turkey Picadillo Lettuce Wraps

Spray large skillet. Set over medium heat for 1 minute
- Nonstick Cooking Spray
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium garlic glove, minced
- 1 medium red bell pepper, stemmed and chopped
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1 large tomato, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup minced fresh parsley leaves or 2 Tbs. dried parsley flakes
- 1 Tbs. minced fresh oregano leaves or 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 Tbs. Chili Powder
- 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. apple-cider vinegar
- 8 Romaine or Boston lettuce leaves, thick stems removed

In a slow cooker, combine the chicken breasts and Italian-style dressing
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 (8 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- salt and pepper to taste
