Cover potatoes with water, about 5 cups
- 2 Idaho potatoes, cut into cubes
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
- sour cream

- 1/2 butter (2 sticks)
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t baking soda
- 1/4 c sour milk (or use 1 t vinegar with milk)
- 3 mashed bananas
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 bag chocolate chips
Krisha's Dairy Kugel

Boil noodles according to directions
- 1 lb fine noodles
- 6 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/4 lb butter
- 8 oz creamed cottage cheese (room temperature)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 c soaked raisins
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 can crushed pineapple (optional)
Radish and Herb Salad with Meyer Lemon Dressing

1. In a small bowl, combine shallot and lemon zest and juice
- 1 small shallot, very thinly sliced, preferably on a mandoline ("POAM")
- Zest of 1 Meyer lemon
- 4 t Meyer lemon juice, more as needed
- 1/4 c extra virgin olive oil, more as needed for drizzling
- 4 c fresh parsley leaves
- 2 celery stalks, very thinly sliced (POAM), plus 1/2 c celery leaves
- 6 radishes, very thinly sliced (POAM)
- 1/2 fennel bulb, very thinly sliced (POAM), plus 1/2 c fennel fronds
- 2 t drained capers
- flaky sea salt, as needed
- black pepper, as needed
Sweet Potato and Kimchi Pancakes

Peel sweet potatoes and julienne using slicer (about 6 cups)
- 1 lb sweet potatoes
- 1 c packed kimchi (7 oz), very thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 t finely chopped garlic
- 1 -2 T chopped fresh Serrano chiles (including
- seeds;amount depends on heat of kimchi)
- 1 c thinly sliced scallions (about 2 bunches)
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 t Kosher salt
- 3/4 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 About 1/2 c corn oil or lard
Blintz Souffle

Preheat overn to 350 degrees
- BATTER:
- 1/4 lb softened butter
- 1/3 c sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 c sour cream
- 1/2 c orange juice
- 1 c all purpose flour
- 2 t baking powder
- FILLING:
- 1 8 oz pkg softened cream cheese
- 2 c small curd cottage cheese
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 T sugar
- 1 t vanilla
Apple Cake

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
- 3/4 c chopped pecans
- 3 c all purpose flour
- 2 c sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinammon
- 4 large baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 Tblsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 c vegetable oil
- 1/2 c (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 c orange juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mushrooms a la Greque

Combine ingredients. Simmer and stir for 5 minutes
- 1 1/2 lb whole small mushrooms
- 2 c water
- 1 c olive oil
- juice of one lemon
- 1 t wine vinegar
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 t rosemary
- 1/2 t sage
- 1 branch fennel
- 1/2 t thyme
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 3/4 t coriander
- 8 peppercorns
- 3/4 t salt
- green onion
- white pepper
- parsley/oregano
- dill weed

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds or till softened

- 1/4 c granulated sugar
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c orange juice
- 2 t baking powder
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/8 t salt
- 2 3/4 c all purpose flour

- 2 1/2 cups bread flour, sifted
- 2 1/2 cups pastry flour, sifted

- 1/2 cup, plus 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temp
- 30 oz Nutella
