- Cornmeal
- 6 cups all purpose flour
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Bread

In the bowl of an electric mixer combine water, yeast and 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- For the swirl:
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water, 110 degrees
- 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk, warmed to 110 degrees
- 2 Tbsp molasses
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/3 cup light-brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon

In a large mixing bowl, combine canned pumpkin, cream cheese, powdered sugar and pumpkin pie spice
- ½ cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese

- For the cake
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 vanilla bean pod, halved and seeds scraped
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs + 3 egg yolks, at room temp
- 1 cup sugar
- For the coffee-marsala syrup
- 3/8 cup espresso (or strongly brewed coffee)
- 1 oz sweet Marsala (I used port)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- For the frosting
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8oz mascarpone
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
- Espresso beans, for garnish
