  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tablespoon sambal oelek (chili paste) (or to taste)
  • The juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 packs Ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 4 soft boiled or fried eggs, for serving
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots, for serving
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeños, for serving
  • 1/2 cup sliced daikon for serving
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions, for serving
