Grilled Garlic Artichokes

Trim the tips from the artichoke leaves and cut off about 1/2 inch from the top of the artichoke
- Dipping Sauce:
- 2 large artichokes
- 4 Tbs lemon juice, divided

- onion, cut into pieces

- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature

- 3/4 cup hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
