- and save for future use:
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 TBS. chopped parsley
- 1 TBS. olive oil (or butter)
- 1 TBS. water
- 1 TBS. of fresh grated Parmesan
- 1 TSP. dry seasonings,
- Mix ¼ tsp each or equal parts of larger amount
- garlic powder
- oregano
- seasoning salt
- onion powder
Sour Cream Cheesecake

A “Joy of Cooking” Favorite
- Crumb Crust:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 to 1/2 sifted confectioner’s sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Filling:
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 3/4 lb. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (or 1/2 teaspoon vanilla)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Glaze:
- 11/2 cups sour cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup butter OR margarine, softened
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Spice Islands Cinnamon, Ground Saigon
- 1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands Nutmeg, Ground
- 1/8 teaspoon Spice Islands Chipotle Chile, Ground
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted
Curry Chicken Salad

This is a recipe from Dottie Courington, passed down from her Aunt (Myrtle Donaldson) from Statesboro, GA
- Dressing:
- 1 large roasted or rotisserie chicken (3 to 31/2 pounds), skin and bones discarded,
- cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 (8-ounce) can sliced or chopped water chestnuts, drained
- 2 cups seedless red grapes, halved
- 1 (2-ounce) package slivered almonds
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon prepared chutney
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
- Salt
Grilled Zucchini Caprese Sandwich (Cooking Light)

1. Heat a large grill pan over medium-high heat
- 1 medium zucchini, trimmed and cut lengthwise into 6 slices
- 4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 (2-ounce) ciabatta rolls, split and toasted

- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1/2 quart water
- 2 (4 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 ounce unsweetened chocolate

- 1/2 bay leaf, crumbled
